SCRIP - Fundraising while you shop!What is SCRIP? SCRIP is a program in which School or Parish Families order Gift Certificates/Gift Cards through MCC to shop at area grocery or retail stores and restaurants. MCC purchases the certificates at a discounted price from the merchants. Families pay face value for the certificates/cards. The percentage we receive varies from 2% to 12% depending on the merchant (averages about 5%). These Certificates/Cards are the same as cash; you may use them to buy anything in the business. You may also use manufacturers’ coupons as you normally would. How do I get SCRIP? SCRIP orders must be turned in by 10:00 AM every Monday and will be delivered by the end of the week. Merchant lists are available in the office, or on the Great Lakes Scrip Center website (available Alphabetically or by Category). |
